An Urgent Problem

Malaria kills nearly one million people in Africa every year, and close to 100,000 in Uganda. The most vulnerable groups are unborn children, children below five and pregnant women. Nearly half of hospital inpatient pediatric deaths are due to malaria.

Our Successes

Pilgrim has recently completed the first round of Move On Malaria in the Katakwi Disctrict providing comprehensive protection against mosquitoes and malaria treatment to over 172,000 people. The threat of malaria continues to drop dramatically in the region. Help us expand this work to more districts in Uganda!

Donate Today!

$10 treats 5 people.  Includes clinical assessment, malaria testing and anti-malarial medication if needed.

$100 treats 10 huts.  Protects approximately 50 people from infectious mosquito bites for 6 months.  Includes volunteer training, safety and spraying equipment, assessment and reporting

To reach the 2.8 million people in Teso district with these life-saving interventions, Move On Malaria & partners need just $5 million dollars. Over half a million has been raised, but we need your help!
