Jasiri 2011: Bold Love for Africa
"Jasiri: Bold Hope for Africa!" is the theme of Pilgrim's 2011 annual fundraising dinner event.
"Jasiri" is a Kiswahili word that means, literally, "Take heart; be brave, daring, and full of courage."
Jasiri : Bold Hope for Africa! will be on Oct 14th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. This year's program features some of the exceptional young people from our high school, Beacon of Hope College, in Soroti, Uganda.
These students from the Music, Dance and Drama Team perform traditional Ugandan dances, and share their talents, dreams, and stories.
