    Beacon of Hope College in Soroti, Uganda provides an excellent Christian education for former refugees and child soldiers. Currently in formation, the Teso University project has the goal of providing Christian higher education for deserving students.

    Pilgrim's agricultural and environmental programs promote formation of farmer co-ops, tree plantings, adoption of drought-resistant crops, the use of renewable energy production and the introduction of technologies which preserve the environment.

  • Agathos Aid And Relief

    Pilgrim's Relief program brings food and medical aid to those in emergency situations in various parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. The Orphan Care program mobilizes African community leaders to care for those who have been orphaned and widowed by AIDS.

  • Public Health

    Pilgrim's public health programs seek to demonstrate Christ's love in remote locales through our Medical Center, mobile medical team, trauma counseling, and malaria eradication programs.

Pilgrim's 2010 Trauma Treatment Conference

The 3-day training conference in Soroti June 16-18 drew over 50 attendees, and covered essential areas of counseling to assist all who work with Teso residents who have been traumatically impacted by war and long-term displacement. Julia Hofman reports on the conference.
