We would like to say a massive thank you to one of our young supporters who organized an incredibly successful book drive for the library-in-progress at Beacon of Hope! She was inspired after meeting a student from the BOH Robotics club two years ago and thought of doing a book drive for the students. Thanks to her persistence and effective marketing skills, she was able to rally her fellow peers at Dimmitt Middle School to collect more than 900 books!

These boxes are jam-packed with everything from young adult fiction to young reader books to school textbooks. We’re still in the process of shipping these to Uganda, but our students are looking forward to indulging in some fun reads!

The construction of the Beacon of Hope Library/Robotics Hall is still in the works, but is shaping up to be a beautiful building!

We love seeing fellow Pilgrims take on their own initiatives and come alongside our students, inspiring hope and growth in different ways.

This outstanding initiative is a testament to what we can do when we gather as a community to support our students. On behalf of Sam and the rest of faculty and students at Beacon of Hope, thank you for your support.

“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.”
