MARK MILES
Chief Development Officer
Mark Miles leads our fundraising efforts as our Chief Development Officer. He has over 25 years of progressive fundraising experience in Christian higher education and the nonprofit sector. He began at Pilgrim Africa on October 15.
Mark began his career with World Vision as a financial analyst and later as a grant and finance manager for their domestic programs. He then worked for Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington, as the director of advancement services and director of annual giving. He worked at Biola University as the senior director of development, where he secured a $12 million gift for the university. He then lead Bethel University’s fundraising efforts as their VP for Advancement, cultivating the largest gift in that institution’s history of $13.5 million.

He graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He then received his MBA from California State University in Long Beach, California.
