This is a Ugandan TV news report about Pilgrim Africa’s Move on Malaria intervention in the Katakwi District of NE Uganda.

Using an integrated approach, Pilgrim Africa partnered with the Ugandan Ministry of Health to demonstrate that effective malaria control is possible at a district-wide level. The intervention showed that malaria can be aggressively and rapidly controlled in Uganda by Ugandan efforts alone. Malaria incidence was reduced by more than 80% to less than 5%, mortality to nearly 0% and overall outpatient attendance at rural clinics by 60%.
